Every year the Santa Fe Reporter completes a survey of the "Best Of" in Santa Fe. I reference this manual regularly throughout the year, it is a wealth of information. The magazine has just released its survey for nominations - so please input your favourites!
I will ask that you vote for Santa Fe Properties as the best real estate firm. Santa Fe Properties won "best of" in 2006 and every year through 2015! Sadly we lost the top spot in 2016, the category was removed in 2017 and came in second in 2018. We are going to win back the title this year! Help us make that happen!
I was honoured to receive this feedback today!
"From November 2018 through January 2019, Elle Seybold represented me as the selling agent in the sale of what had been my sister’s home in Santa Fe, NM. As I reside on the east coast and with my own local business and family responsibilities, it wasn’t possible for me to come out and stay in Santa Fe to oversee the physical preparation or any of the inspections or repairs that would be necessary to facilitate the sale. Although Elle cautioned me that a typical home sale can often take as long as 6 months from the date it lists, on the day it was listed the first couple that came to view the property agreed to purchase at the asking price! I believe that this was due, in large part to Elle’s thorough…

Cold weather is upon us, and fireplaces are lighting up. But do you have the right firewood to burn?
Any homeowner who regularly uses his or her fireplace in the winter months knows that dry, aged wood produces the best results for the ideal fire. It burns better, produces more heat and produces less creosote build-up in your fireplace than green wood. Green wood is hard to light and difficult to keep burning, it tends to smoulder and not burn consistently because it retains water.
